Go

The classic board game Go. The objective is to surround a larger total area of the board with your stones than the opponent.

Put your piece on any crossing of the board to start the game. Alternate turns with your opponent, placing one stone per turn. Enclose your opponent's stones fully to take them from the board. Command more territory than your opponent by the end of the game to triumph. Use planning to hinder your opponent's moves while increasing your own territory. Keep in mind that stones are immovable once placed, unless captured. The match finishes when both players skip their turns consecutively, indicating no more actions can benefit either side.
